Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bohdan Nahornyi (“we”, “us”), the operator of trysavvy.dev(the “Site”), handles personal data. It is provided in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”.

Scope: the website, not your finances

Savvy is self-hostedsoftware. When you run your own Savvy instance, it executes entirely on your server and your financial data never reaches us. The product’s “no telemetry” promise refers to that self-hosted application. This policy covers this marketing and documentation website and the public demo at demo.trysavvy.dev.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider and CDN process technical request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) to deliver pages and protect the Site against abuse. These logs are short-lived and not used to profile you.
  • Theme preference.Your light/dark choice is stored in your browser’s localStorage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Analytics (consent-based). If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, pseudonymous usage (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). Analytics are not loaded until you consent; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set. See our Cookie Policy for the exact cookies and how to change your choice.

Legal basis (GDPR)

  • Server logs — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a secure website.
  • Analytics — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.

We do not sell personal data and use no automated decision-making.

Where your data is processed

The Site is hosted by Artnet Sp. z o.o. in Gdańsk, Poland (EU), so origin page-serving data is processed within the EU. Traffic is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., a content-delivery and security network that proxies all requests (and therefore processes your IP address) across its global infrastructure, which may include servers outside the EU/Ukraine. Google Analytics, if enabled by your consent, is operated by Google. Both Cloudflare and Google rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfer outside the EU/EEA.

Third parties

  • Artnet Sp. z o.o. (Gdańsk, Poland (EU)) — hosting provider, processes requests on our behalf.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — CDN, DDoS protection and reverse proxy; processes request data including your IP address to deliver and secure the Site. Sets a strictly-necessary security cookie (see the Cookie Policy).
  • Google (Analytics) — only after you consent; see the Cookie Policy.
  • GitHub — public repository statistics are fetched server-side; we send no personal data about you to GitHub. If you follow a link to GitHub, their privacy policy applies.

The public demo

Anything you enter into the demo at demo.trysavvy.dev is stored on our server for demonstration only and may be reset or deleted at any time. Do not enter real financial data or credentials into the demo.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw analytics consent. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

Changes

Material changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Where new processing requires consent, we will ask before it begins.
